Life in the Woods
Walden is a reflection upon simple living in natural surroundings at Walden Pond where Henry D. Thoreau built a cabin in 1845 to live and discover the nature of independence, social life, spirituality, and self-reliance. Based on the two-years-and-two-months’ experiment, he wrote his book about his findings, and expressed his social criticism and dissent.
By reading this book you will participate in a historical and philosophical journey of simple living and self-sufficiency.
